Boston is my favorite city I have ever visited. There is a bar called Bukowskis. Bukowski was my favorite poet many years ago when I was coming back to life and that bar is perfectly themed after him. The Italian in the North End is the best I've ever had. Everyone dresses to the nines almost effortlessly and everywhere I went flowers of every sort burst out into the clear light. There was something so structured about my time there - structured and gold. For the rest of my life I will never forget walking into the foyer of the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum. It felt to me exactly how this painting looks. Overwhelming and mysterious, graceful and all-encompassing. Delicate, sharp, unusual, but familiar.
