Art is inner strength and resilience. Shadow work that transmutes pain into something beyond isolation and questions. Color is light and to me, light is protection. For me, light is what became my compass, illuminating the impossible path ahead and dispelling fear, self-doubt, and the ever perceptions of smallness and comparison. What if none of the fear was ever real? What if it was only a thought so powerful that your mind painted it into fruition? 

Together, art, light, and color create a veil of protection - a refuge from the chaos of the world. Art has always given me a safe space to make decisions, mess things up, and then layer over the mistakes. Turns out, if I keep going, it actually turns into something. And when I’m lost in it, all it is is what I say it is. As it turns out, this makes things - and the more I’m putting out into the world, the less I am absorbing and consuming it. The more I expand into this, the less the fear can keep up.
