This is a piece of art about you both and your family, and how together, you create every radiance of child-like imagination and color of the rainbow. The frequency is seeing a brilliant sunrise over every shade and direction of adversity. It is the colors of what you have built even after maybe you thought you lost everything. This painting is a prayer as a visual picture that your marriage will always remain your greatest sanctuary of safety and happiness - a mental and emotional trust that has of every glittering light and color to share with each other and beyond.
This is also a portrait of simple moments of silence. The sort where you wake up in the sun with each other, happy. This is the bigger picture of so much life finally making sense and coming into view. I am so proud of you both for taking a chance, creating this picture, and inviting the rest of us in.
It is far easier to live in fear and never take the chance to see more color. It is far easier to stay in the pattern of sunrise and sunset and a familiar routine. We tell ourselves it is safer that way - to stay the same, to not daydream, and to let all of the colors be exactly the same as they have always been, everywhere.
Maybe it’s the way this part of life is the glittering rainbow after the hurricane. Or how the whole time I was making this I could feel Lori beaming with pride that her son is healthy and she raised him to be a valuable husband and father.

Getting back up is the real power just ask the sun. Color is a compound composition wavelength of light and within the stories of your lives separate and together - all of your places and daydreams, sunrises and songs and stories and hugs. This is the fabric of the daydream that is all around you, shining bright in every moment.
In the center of the sun are five gems. One for Reno, Kelly, Effie, Izzy and of course Rory. It is a reminder that every day together you create a portrait of life using the connection as the medium.
The way you demonstrate the sort of love where you can both be childlike and safe in that vulnerability is striking, bright and inspiring. My greatest dream has always been for my art to look the way that The Cure or Joy Division or Fleetwood Mac sounds. So here we are. Everywhere, as a daydream.
I hope that your love and all of the light that it brings to so many is with you always, everywhere. Just like all of the angels that brought you together - defenses down, with the glittering innocence of a child.
